Why therapy?

At Victory Clinic, we believe that all of us would benefit from having a therapist. Therapy is more than just talking about our problems and stress. Therapy can assist us with our problem solving. Therapy can also help us identify coping mechanisms to improve our mental health and wellbeing.

What’s a therapist?

A therapist is a specially trained professional you can talk to, who will listen, and not judge. It can be useful to have someone to talk to who’s there for you in your journey who isn’t your boss, spouse, family member, friend, co-worker, or roommate.

Who should get therapy?

We recommend therapy for mental health, even if you are on
other treatments such as medication, TMS, or SPRAVATO®. Some therapies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety, are superior to medications. Therapy plus treatment is better than treatment alone for depression.

How do I get therapy?

Victory Clinic partners with professional therapists. If you do not have a therapist, we are happy to make a recommendation. Therapy is available both in face-to-face encounters and by telehealth.
